Rare  6ft. 7"  Bosendofer Grand from 1951
This piano was shipped to San Francisco from Germany in 1951, and arrived  here on April 24th.
It has resided in the same home ever since. It was the personal piano of a devoted patron of The San Francisco Symphony  and was played by top musicians,  It has been passed down  from the estate of the only owner. It is in top condition and has always been meticulously maintained. It has top grade ivory keys.  The action is very, very responsive and awaits the most skilled player.  This piano still has the pure singing tone it had when new.  This is a rare find as few Bosendorfer pianos were in the U. S. at that time. Having stayed in San Francisco in a stable climate it has aged beautifully.

This is our 1967 Steinway model B, it has been rebuilt and refinished. It is just under seven feet long. This one has lots of power and a definitive bass section. It is a prime example of the true American piano sound. All new action parts have replaced the original teflon bushings.  This instrument is ready to offer many years of playing pleasure and years of practice time.  This piano has spent its entire life in  San Francisco after leaving the New York factory and has never suffered the stress of the wood drying  out too much.  Please call us for more information.

1957  ACROSONIC by Baldwin        SOLD

This rare Acrosonic was built in 1961. It is the Danish modern design with a teak wood case - it was only built for a short time. This one has its original bench or seat with original cushion. It is very rare to find one with its matching seat. It has been refinished and restored to like new condition inside and out.  This is one of the best sounding ones we've seen and we have seen hundreds. Unusual miniature piano made in occupied Japan (stamped inside)
Named MONOCHORD by a Los Angeles piano dealer who was
a distributor for these. It was probably made by the Kawai Company
of Japan and would date to about 1949.
